Introductory Officials Clinic - Track Events
February 20 and March 12, 2016, MUN Field House
NLAA is inviting former track and field athletes and interested parents to attend one of the two officials clinics offered on February 20 and March 12. The clinics will provide an overview of the different track events and will introduce participants to various tasks performed by officials.
The two clinics will be held at the MUN Field House just before the track meets on February 20 and March 12. Participants can attend either session.

- 5:45pm Arrival
- 6:00pm-6:30pm Overview of rules
- 6:45pm-8:30pm Observe Event Conduct
- 8:30pm-8:45pm Debriefing

This Clinic is free of charge. The sessions will be held indoors; please dress for comfort and light activity, and wear indoor sneakers. Bring pen and paper to take notes. The session will last for about 3 hours.
Most Clinic participants will be asked to sit at designated areas to observe the conduct of races and take notes. Some may be assigned a volunteer position as part of the officials' crew.
